easyJet is launching new flights from London Luton to Salzburg in Austria this weekend.

Flights will start on 17th December and will operate twice weekly.

Fares start from £27.99 (one way including taxes).

Salzburg is the perfect destination for a pre-Christmas jaunt. Surrounded by hills that are brought to life by The Sound of Music, the Salzburg Christkindlmarkt, set under the Cathedral in the heart of the Old Town, brings the whole city of Salzburg alive. Picturesque lanes of wooden stalls offer traditional must-have delicacies such as hand made sweets, roasted almonds and chestnuts as well as decorated gingerbread goodies. Pause for some warming Gluhwein or traditional Punsch before browsing the locally hand crafted toys, tree decorations and souvenirs. Finish with a stroll up to the Monschberg and take in the fairytale views of the snow covered roof tops of Salzburg.
