Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced last week it will launch new flights from Kutaisi to Kiev from September 2012.

Flights will operate three times per week and will be the first low-cost flights to/from Georgia.

To celebrate this new route, Wizz Air launched a seat sale with fares starting from €22.99 (one way).

John Stephenson, Executive Vice President of Wizz Air Group, commented: "Wizz Air is delighted to announce this new Kutaisi route with very low fares for Georgian travelers and visitors. This year over 12 million passengers will chose Wizz Air’s low fares and superior service over high-fare and fuel surcharging airlines and for the first time this choice is now available in Georgia."
