Daily service between Miami and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and between Miami and Eduardo Gomes International Airport in Manaus, Brazil (MAO) started on June 14. Nonstop service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Asuncion, Paraguay's Silvio Pettirossi International Airport (ASU) will run four times per week, beginning November 15. American will also begin several additional frequencies to Brazil, increasing flights from Miami to Brasilia (BSB) and Belo Horizonte (CNF) from five and three times per week, respectively, to daily; as well as additional frequencies to Spain, increasing flights from Miami to Barcelona (BCN) from five times per week to daily. "We are very excited to be launching these new routes and frequencies, which give our customers even more travel options to and from Miami," said Marilyn DeVoe, American's Vice President – Miami. "In addition, the launch of these new routes and added frequencies further underscores the importance of our Miami hub and our commitment to its growth."
