Wizz Air, central and Eastern Europe’s largest low-cost airline, last week announced it will be launching the first ever low-cost flight between Budapest and Israel starting December 2012.
Starting from just €37.99, the new Tel Aviv-Budapest flight costs just a fraction of the price charged by high-fare airlines.
The flight will operate three times a week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
József Váradi, CEO of Wizz Air, said: "Wizz Air is delighted to bring really low fares to Tel Aviv and launch its new route to/from Budapest. We expect our low fares to be a driving force in generating more tourism both in Budapest and Tel Aviv.”
