Jet2 has today announced that it is increasing its flights from Edinburgh Airport with a brand new route to Majorca for summer 2010 plus increased frequencies on flights to Ibiza. Majorca is the twelfth destination to be added to Jet2.com’s schedule from its Scottish base, with flights to the popular sun-drenched Balearic Island on sale now for twice weekly departures from 26th June 2010. Majorca not only boasts warm weather and great beaches, it also has plenty of sightseeing from La Seu, the stunning 14th century Gothic Cathedral to museums and art galleries. The island is also filled with fun activities from kayaking, rock climbing and hiking in the picturesque Tramuntana Mountains. The thriving resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova are the places to go to party when the sun goes down with lively bars and nightclubs or for a more relaxed evening, sip a cocktail after a delicious meal in the restaurants found on the Passeig Maritim. Jet2.com has also increased flights to fellow Balearic island Ibiza to three flights a week due to overwhelming customer demand. New flights to Majorca are on sale now from £34.99 (one way inc. taxes). Book direct with Jet2
