NorwegianScandinavian low cost airline Norwegian continues to expand its base in Stockholm and launches direct flights to London Gatwick, Edinburgh and Munich, three destinations which are appealing to both business and leisure travellers. The new direct flights will increase Norwegians presence in the Swedish market, as the company is adding an eighth aircraft to the Stockholm base.

Daniel Skjeldam, chief commercial officer for Norwegian, commented: "Today, there is no low-cost alternative to London from Arlanda. London is one of the most popular destinations for Swedes on leisure travel, and there is also significant business volume on the route. For that reason, we are very pleased to be the first airline to offer tickets at very competitive prices to all London bound customers, whether they are travelling on business, for shopping or to watch a football game"

The new route between Stockholm and London Gatwick, which launches on 29 April, will be served daily, apart from Saturdays. The Stockholm to Munich operation will have three weekly departures, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 May. Finally, Stockholm - Edinburgh, meanwhile, starts on 6 May with three weekly departures (Tuesdays/Thursdays/Sundays).

The tickets are available for booking direct with Norwegian
