Iceland ExpressDue to the continued success of its New York route, Iceland Express has decided to make its Gatwick to Newark flight a permanent route.

Prices start from £299 return including taxes, which Iceland Express has promised to continue all year round, even during New York’s popular winter season.

The low-fare airline will make the London Gatwick to Newark International service a lasting fixture on its schedule after receiving an average of 90 per cent load rates since the route launch in June 2010. Iceland Express puts its ongoing success down to the fact that it is an honest airline offering genuinely low-cost fares and no hidden charges.

Matthias Imsland, Iceland Express CEO said: "We offer low fares across all our routes and the New York service is particularly well priced, hence its popularity and constantly high load rate.  We will continue to offer seats to New York at a low cost."
