BMI British MidlandWhichBudget was at the Conde Nast Travel Awards 2010 last night and witnessed easyJet, bmibaby and Jet Blue scorring the highest among low cost airlines.

It is also worth noting that Lufthansa was voted the readers' favourite airline for short-haul holidays due to its excellent 'punctuality/efficiency' and 'service/staff'. BMI came in second followed by Swiss International Air Lines, British Airways, KLM, Aer Lingus, Monarch Airlines, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Air France and Alitalia. Changi airport in Singapore got the highest score among airports for 'best food/restaurants' and 'lounge/pre-/post-flight facilities'.
