A beautiful French-Savoyard town, Brides les Bains was the designated Olympic Village for the 1992 Winter Olympics. Although village skiing is sparse, the high-speed Olympe gondola takes you from the centre of Brides les Bains to the heart of the Three Valleys skiing area in 25 minutes. It is also just 20 minutes drive to the La Plagne ski area.

This is a gateway to some truly superb skiing and also home to the largest natural spa in the French Alps. Après ski here may not be as thriving as other resorts in the Three Valleys but there is still plenty to occupy everyone after a long day on the slopes. Bars and restaurants are plentiful and, for those looking for a late night, there are two nightclubs and the only casino in the Three Valleys. Brides les Bains is a great choice both for its superb spa facilities and access to a huge range of ski and snowboard terrain.
