A popular resort with British skiers for over 30 years, Sauze d'Oulx has a pretty, traffic-free village at its centre. Sauze d'Oulx is known for its lively après ski, which starts by the slopes and continues until the discos and nightclubs close in the small hours of the morning. Ski-buses serve the lifts that run from the outer village to the highest peak of Col Basset. From here you overlook the nearby town of Sestriere.

The long, tree-lined slopes above Sauze d'Oulx are particularly suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders. This is the biggest ski resort in the Milky Way ski area and offers splendid cruising terrain and a diverse aprés ski scene.
